Immediate Dentures

Immediate Dentures are created specifically for the patient before the natural teeth are removed. This allows for the patient to use them immediately after dental surgery, and offers an alternative for going without missing teeth through a healing period. They also provide protection for the gums while your mouth heals following oral surgery.

These dentures are considered temporary because as the mouth heals the physical structure will change in the absence of your natural teeth. Depending on how long your healing period takes, and it could be months, immediate dentures allow you to eat and speak while the healing takes place.

A Clinical Dental Technician will not only create your immediate dentures, but can also fit your permanent dentures once your mouth has healed sufficiently. Allowing time for your gum line to shrink while healing will result in better fitting permanent dentures.
